Curtis Orchard

DSCF2473.JPGDSCF2462.JPGOn Sunday our friend Ryan was in town and we went to this place called Curtis Orchard. It’s pretty close to us, in Champaign. Basically an apple orchard with a petting zoo and creepy “The Wizard of Oz” murals painted all over the walls. They also had big inflatable slides and–believe it or not–it cost a dollar every time the kiddies go up and down the slide. Overall the place was pretty lame, but we managed to enjoy it regardless. We did pick apples, but Grant smashed many more than we took home. Don’t get mad. He only smashed the ones that were already on the ground, and no one would eat those anyhow. Notice the Radio Flyer.

I took home a little pumpkin and some moss off of the ground to propagate in the new “vivarium.” That will be the topic of yet another post.

  • So apparently I keep on posting stuff and screwing up the website. Would somebody please explain to me the rules, boundaries, and limitations?
